Responsible for converting current Remote Agent (RA) legacy application to a web enabled environment using Sun J2EE object oriented programming tools, including AWT, Swing, and Enterprise Java Session Beans. Provide all technical documentation and maintain the company’s intranet web site in regards to the RA project. Work with the in-house staff to determine any enhancements required to make the web enabled RA application more efficient. Worked with Red Hat Linux OS for over six months to investigate the possibility of migrating the RA project from Windows XP workstations to Red Hat Linux workstations. Created special interfaces so our Java 2 application would work on both platforms.

Provide technical microcomputer support on site for the IS division of Space and Warfare Systems Center in Chesapeake Virginia. Responsible for object oriented programming to maintain Visual FoxPro application used to support the US Navy Fleet. Current projects include a technical library management system (TLMS) and a financial budget system. Created .NET prototype to provide a web enabled version of the TLMS application. Provide technical support for all end users to assist in debugging problems with software and network systems after applicable software is installed. Responsibilities include creation of installation and upgrade packages for software distribution. Webmaster for project related web site maintained on military Internet and Intranet networks. Maintained a Citrix MetaFrame/InFuse interface to support remote Navy Command resources and application beta testing.
